AI – it’s been around for many years now.

Of course, most of the hype around it that we see nowadays only started about 12-18 months ago, but it’s showing no signs of slowing down.

This means that if you’re not on the AI train yet, it’s time to hop on board – especially as these 5 Sales and Marketing AI tools can really supercharge your business.

As a digital marketer, I see businesses every day that seem to know all about how important AI is… but when it comes to identifying what business AI tools are out there and understanding how to use them to their advantage, they really struggle.

If this sounds like you, don’t worry! I get it.

I’ve been there myself. AI for Sales and AI for marketing sounds good, but it can be an overwhelming whirlwind at first.

I’ve already established that both sales and marketing should be closely linked, but how do we bring AI into this?

Well, it takes time to get to know these new technologies and determine which AI tools are going to be most relevant and beneficial to you so you can adopt them into your business operations.

However, I can speed things up for you.

In this article, I’m going to share my first-hand experience with five of the latest AI tools and platforms that I personally use to bolster our Sales and Marketing here at Ask Marketing.

Today, businesses require a much more synergistic approach, where your Sales and Marketing teams literally work together as a cohesive unit - and AI is a catalyst to unite both these functions.

Hopefully, this will help give you a better understanding of which AI tools may work in your business.

Let’s start with our AI Sales tools.

1. ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo is a powerful AI prospecting tool that provides you with access to a global B2B contact database that you can use to directly reach all the right people at the organisations that you want to target for your next sale.

At Ask Marketing, I use ZoomInfo to create a list of all the key decision-makers that I’d love to have a conversation with to help us grow our client base.

This sales AI tool has dramatically reduced the amount of time it takes for me to build a prospecting list, allowing me to focus more of my energy on sealing the deal.

Imagine the prospecting opportunities this AI platform could have on your sales process!

2. Murf.ai

As a business, we’ve always been huge fans of using personalised voice messages – either through text messaging or on WhatsApp.

Murf.ai
is an AI voice generator tool that allows me to create these personalised voice messages at scale. With its text-to-speech capabilities, I can feed it exactly what I want my message to say, and it will give me back a voice message that sounds just like a real person.

This tool has truly been a game-changer for our communications at Ask Marketing.

Think about how you could amplify your business’ sales process with an AI voice messaging tool to reach more customers more personally.

3. Rask.ai

Do you have client prospects abroad? If so, does your sales process have a multi-lingual aspect? With this sales AI tool, you can.

If you’ve been following us at Ask for some time now, you’d know that, wherever possible, we always use personalised videos throughout our sales, marketing and operational processes – from outreach through to sending proposals.

Rask.ai
is an AI-powered video dubbing tool that allows me to translate audio and video into more than 130 languages.

This means that, for our clients looking to expand into new overseas/international markets, it’s now possible to create personalised video messages to send to key decision-makers in their native language.

Amazing!

I’d also like to give a quick mention to Qwilr and Loom here.

Qwilr allows me to create interactive proposals that I can then embed these personalised video messages recorded with Loom into to help make our proposals more appealing to clients.

These two are powerful AI-powered sales tools that are almost a must today for businesses. Just ask me how: I can show you!

2 AI Marketing tools that your business cannot go without:

1. Dripify

If you’re using LinkedIn for lead generation, then you NEED Dripify.

Dripify is an AI-powered prospecting tool that automates the process of generating leads by allowing you to create personalised drip campaigns that do the job for you.

Honestly, I don’t think a lot of people realise just how versatile this tool is.

I use it all the time to help me get the most out of LinkedIn and effortlessly connect with the people that I want to be having a conversation with.

LinkedIn is an essential part of marketing and networking today. Imagine having a tool that allows you to amplify your reach.

2. ChatGPT

Okay, I don’t think I need to explain what ChatGPT is!

It’s an oldie, but it’s a goodie – and it’s come a long way since it first blew our minds back in 2022.

At Ask Marketing, we use ChatGPT to help us with developing a lot of our marketing content. However, it’s important to remember that ChatGPT should not replace a human copywriter or human marketer; it should simply empower them.

If you’re going to use ChatGPT, you should be using the sandwich method.

This is where you ensure a human is involved on both sides of the content that ChatGPT spits out – feeding it the right information as it goes in, and reshaping and humanising it as it comes out to give it that extra level of emotional connection that audiences are craving so much right now.

Don’t know which AI tool to choose or where to even start?

The best place to begin is to determine what your current conversion rates are that link marketing and sales performance.

There are three key metrics, in fact:

  1. Initial Lead Call > Proposal Sent CVR
  2. Proposal Sent > Client Won CVR
  3. Total Leads > Client Won CVR

When you look at these three metrics and assess how you are performing first, this will give you a clear indication as to which area of the sales and marketing process needs to be optimised first.

From here, you can adopt the right AI tools to strengthen your whole process.

It might seem as if once you’ve got the right AI tools in place, the rest is easy – but that’s not the case.
